Clinical Optometrist
Nicola graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Vision Science) with Distinction and Master of Clinical Optometry with Excellence from UNSW, where she also received several academic awards. She also completed the Optometry Australia Advanced Practice Recognition Program in Glaucoma as part of its inaugural cohort.
Prior to joining Harbour Vision, Nicola has worked in private practice, and as a Senior Staff Optometrist at the Centre for Eye Health across its Parramatta and UNSW locations. She brings to the team a well-rounded background in primary care optometry, extensive experience in optometric ocular disease management, and valuable experience in collaborative care with ophthalmology. Her clinical interests lie in glaucoma, optic nerve, macular and retinal disease, and she has contributed to the optometry profession by presenting on these topics at both local and national levels.
Nicola is dedicated to improving patient health and visual outcomes, with a focus on the early diagnosis and management of ocular disease, clear patient education and an empathetic approach to communication and care. Outside of optometry, she enjoys pilates, drinking matcha and baking.
